MARDI AGRO PARK
BUTTERFLY GARDEN, KAE FARM, BRINCHANG
The Butterfly Garden is one of two such adjoining parks in Kea Farm along the main road to Tringkap, 3km after Brinchang town or 7km from Tanah Rata, and a stone's throw away from Equatorial ResortOpen daily, tickets are MYR5 per adult and MYR2 for children
SAM POH TEMPLE
The Sam Poh Temple in Brinchang is the largest temple in Cameron Highlands, nestled on a small hill top at the back of town
GOLD COURSE
The Sultan Ahmad Shah Golf Club is the only public golf course in Cameron Highlands, located next to the main road about 2km after Tanah Rata and 5km before Brinchang townOpen daily from 7am to 5pm, the charges are MYR52 for weekdays and MYR85 for weekends and public holidays. Golfers aged 56 and above enjoy a special discount.
BOH TEA
Boh is the largest tea plantation in Cameron Highlands, with two sister estates; its immediate neighbour Fairlie Garden and Sungai Palas in Brinchang, about 20km away. The main estate in Habu is a popular tourist attraction with a functioning factory that's open to public, shopping gallery, English cafe, viewpoints along the tea fields and even a small lodge for overnight accommodation. The Boh Tea Gardens can be accessed using an 8km narrow route that starts from Habu district, 4km after Ringlet town or 6km away from Tanah Rata. A large signboard points at the detour along the main road, so it's not easy to miss the turning
CAMERON VALLEY, KUALA TERLA
The Cameron Valley Tea House and plantation is located along the main road in Kuala Terla, between Tringkap and Kampung Raja, or about 5km after Kea Farm in Brinchang. Owned by Bharat Tea, Cameron Valley is a much smaller tea estate but with a larger building that houses an impressive cafe terrace on the upper floor, along with a tea shop stocked with Bharat products. The cafe terrace is a perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea while admiring the panoramic landscape of tea fields and parts of Tringkap town. For many visitors arriving from Simpang Pulai road, the tea house is a welcome stopover before heading up to Brinchang.
